This survey is part of a research study conducted by JM Santiago, under the guidance of the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, focusing on the integration of generative AI in tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs). The study aims to explore how AI can enhance creativity in collaborative storytelling, particularly in the context of TTRPG sessions. My name is JM Santiago and I am exploring the creative aspects of Tabletop Role-playing Games (TTRPGs) and considering how new tools and resources might enrich the experience. Your insights are invaluable, whether you're a seasoned Game Master, a dedicated player, or new to TTRPGs. This survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Please note that your responses will remain anonymous, and data will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Introduction: Thank you for considering participation in our survey titled "Enhancing Creativity in Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs)." This research aims to explore the creative aspects of TTRPGs and examine the potential of integrating new tools, including AI-assisted resources, to enhance the gaming experience.

Purpose of the Study: The study seeks to gather insights into players' and Game Masters' experiences with TTRPGs, focusing on creativity, challenges faced during gameplay, and openness to utilizing digital and AI tools.

Voluntary Participation: Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary. You have the right to withdraw at any time without providing a reason and without any negative consequences.

Data Collection and Use: The survey collects data related to your experiences and opinions regarding TTRPGs. Please do not include any personally identifiable information in your responses. The data collected will be used solely for research purposes to understand trends and patterns in TTRPG gameplay and creativity enhancement.

Confidentiality and Anonymity: In compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), all data collected from this survey will be treated with strict confidentiality. Your responses will be anonymized and cannot be traced back to you. The aggregated data may be used in research publications or presentations, but individual responses will remain confidential.

Data Storage and Security: Collected data will be stored securely on encrypted servers with access limited to the research team. Data will be retained only for the duration necessary to complete the research and analysis, after which it will be securely deleted.
